I was not a fan. I attempted to read it a few times and every time was unsuccessful. I heard great things about it but it wasnt my cup of tea. Give it a chance and see what you think. My opinion is probably the odd man out.
I was on the fence about it. I like the subject matter, but the writing style was a mix of tell mythology/ almost info dump, and then occasionally show a scene. It seemed interesting mainly because it’s a retelling on a subject that hasn’t been driven into the ground recently. If it had more competition I probably wouldn’t have finished it
It retold stories beautifully from a perspective I wouldn’t have otherwise considered. I paused on a number of passages to breathe in the poetry. Lovely book.

The audiobook was wonderful.
I have a hard time following audiobooks. I would rather have the book in my hand but again I heard the audio was great too.

Definitely keep it up. If you just can’t (which is where i was) then move on and find something new. Best of reading
