I just bought H.P. Lovecrafts Select Stories: Classic Horror Stories
It’s about 800 pages and cost $8… I love that it has several stores by several authors! It’s fantastic!

Strangely, even though I’m not much into horror, Poe is an exception. I also read a lot of Lovecraft stories years ago. I like spooky but not terrifying.

I don’t read scary books any more because A Boy’s Life by Robert McCammon scared the beejeezus out of me and I swore I’d never read another scary book in my life. And I haven’t. And it’s been 20 years since I read it.
