It will soon be time to read Dorothy Sayers’s “The Nine Tailors”…I read it every Christmas/New Years…set in the 20’s, in the English ‘Fen Country’…full of snow storms, a flooded cathedral, atmosphere, murder and bell-ringing…!
Hannah Swensen, coffee house mysteries by Cleo Coyle, Haley Randolph Mysteries, black sheep knitting mysteries by Anne Canadeo, magical cats mysteries by Sofie Kelly, the Molly Murphy mysteries by Rhys Bowen
Krista Davis, Daryl Wood Gerber, Jacqueline Frost, Ellery Adams, Kelle Z Riley, and Amanda Flower are among my favorites. If you (or anyone) write reviews of cozies, PM me. I have about 180 new copies of cozies to have sent out to reviewers before the end of the year. (Right now, I’m trying to fill A Crafter Knits a Clue by Holly Quinn.)
I’m not a typical fan of ‘cozies’, but I did enjoy The Cat Who for a while. My mother is a huge fan, her favorite is Donna Andrews’ Meg Langslow series… which also happens to include the book with both of our all-time-favorite titles; Revenge of the Wrought-Iron Flamingos.
The Hamish McBeth series is pretty fun!?
I agree!
Donna Andrews and Lynn Cahoon
