I have a few. Joan Wolf’s The Road to Avalon, Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series and The Host, Erin Morgenstern’s The Night Circus, Patrick Suskind’s Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, Paullina Simons’ The Bronze Horseman series, Marion Zimmer Bradley’s The Mists of Avalon, Brian McGreevy’s Hemlock Grove…
@Christle Really? It was one of the book adaptions that I did not like But good that there are different opinions and tastes. I loved “Lion – A long way home “
I’d have to break it down into genres, and give a top three that I think of first right at this moment. Let’s see… Children’s books: ?Winnie the Pooh ?Where The Sidewalk Ends ?Pippi Longstocking
Middlegrade: ?The Secret Garden ?Black Beauty ?The Chronicles of Narnia
Young Adult: ?The Scorpio Races ?Six of Crows ?The Daughter of Smoke & Bone
Young Adult Contemporary: ?I’ll Give You The Sun ?Eleanor & Park ?A Monster Calls
@Janice You know, I haven’t tried any strictly romance books! But for stories with a great romantic plot—other than the ones I already picked—I’ll say: ?The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice & Virtue ?The Host ?The Song of Achilles
