City of Ember. My nine-year-old grandson has read the series and wants me to read it too. Then we will discuss it on the phone every week or so. I love that he wants to do this with me.

Just started Dreams and Shadows by C. Robert Cargill. First time reading this author. Described as part Neil Gaiman part Guillermo Del Toro and part William Burroughs. Hope it lives up to that!
