I read it when it 1st came out & thoroughly enjoyed it. 2 of my favorite subjects Victorian age & police procedural
I started it, but didn’t get far as a local news story distracted me. But will definitely get more done tomorrow.
wonderful book! the second book in the 2-book series was almost as good.
