Vanessa, I read the first book and it was awesome. Midway into the book I had to make use of notepad to keep all the characters straight. I wish upon thee happy reading 🙂
I too follow the show. In my opinion having watched the show first is to your advantage because you can picture the characters with more ease. I think it adds to the enjoyment of the book.
