I don’t think it gets nearly enough recognition. I love several of his books but this is my favorite and I rarely see it mentioned.
Needful Things, The Shining, Four Past Midnight , Skeleton Crew, Cujo, Pet Sematary, IT and many others! I love most of them!
The Stand, Needful Things, The Green Mile, The Shawshank Redemption, The Shining Dr. Sleep …. and most of the rest of them!
Almost all of his early works are gold, unfortunately I’d have to say his more recent stuff isn’t on the same level with some exceptions each way
Carrie, It, The Dark Tower Series The Tommy Knockers , Geral’s Game, Missery, Needful Things, Pet Semitary , Nightmares & Dreamscapes . Those are some of The ones I have enjoyed.
11/22/63 is great. Lots of great books to choose from though. Christine was good. I enjoyed The Outsider. I’m reading The Shining currently.
I have never read any Stephen King but I am looking forward to doing so since everyone loves his writing!
@Sumaya I’d start with his first, ‘Carrie’. And go from there. His early work was, in my opinion, his best.
The Long Walk, one of his as Richard Bachman. He said it’s too disturbing for him to ever allow it to become a movie.
