Turtles All the Way Down by John Green. I have a friend that is OCD. Like, real OCD not I’m overly organized OCD and he recommends this book.

I have it too, but I’m scared to read the book in case it hits too close to home ?

Elissa Vaughan my friend’s version of OCD is very different from the character’s, and he was angry with John Green at first. Until he learned that John Green has it himself and it affects everyone differently. After that he was impressed enough to write his own manuscript about OCD. I can tell you what it is, if that would help.

Made You Up by Francesca Zappia presents a very good look at Schizophrenia.

I just read “All the Bright Places” and felt it was pretty accurate (although I am no mental health expert)! The book addressed bullying, suicide, bipolar disorder and tore me up!!
