Jennifer Moore, Sarah M Eden, Julianne Donaldson (Edenbrooke is one of my favorite books), Josi S. Kilpack, Nancy Campbell Allen, Julie Daines. The Jonquil Brothers series from Sarah M Eden is one of my favorites, start with Kiss of a Stranger. I also also LOVE Seeking Persephone (The Lancaster Family Series). A feel good one is A Heart Revealed by Josi S Kilpack.
Sarah Maclean, Lisa Kleypas, Julia Quinn, Stephanie Laurens, Kerrigan Byrne, Jennifer Ashley,
Kathryn LeVeque, Suzanne Enoch, Lorainne Heath, Julie Garwood
I like Amanda Quick. They are romantic mysteries but set in the Regency period.
Marion Chesney, no smut, just romance
Johanna Lindsey’s Mallory series. I’ve read the entire series over and over. The characters are awesome.
I just found a very hot series by Carole Mortimer called Regency Sinners. I’d consider it smut.
Julia Quinn, Julie Garwood, Tessa Dare, Amanda Quick
Monica Bentley is a little earlier, but very good stories … with just the right amount of smut.
