Loved Scrappy Little Nobody by Anna Kendrick. Tough As They Come by Travis Mills. Can’t remember the author, but Kate Remembered was lovely too, about Katherine Hepburn. Just a few off the top of my head. I’ve been on a non fiction trend lately. ?
The Last Lecture by Randy Pauch, When Breath Becomes Air, any Ruth Reichel(foodie) book, Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain, to name a few favorites!
Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson. It was released not long before Jobs died and it gives a really complete and, to me at least, absorbing picture of his life.
I literally just ordered that book and received it last week. I can’t wait to read it. I actually really like that author. Einstein: life and universe was really good too by him.
Andersonville by Kantor, The Girls of Atomic City by Kieran, One Summer by Bryson, When Breath Becomes Air by Kalanithi, Hillbilly Elegy by Vance, Maeve Binchy by Dudgeon, and In the Great Green Room: The Brilliant and Bold Life of Margaret Wise Brown by Gary.
And the Band Played On (about the AIDS epidemic). Word by Word, the Secret Life of Dictionaries. This is a very recent book and it’s a LOT of fun, as well as really interesting.
I’ve just finished Unmasked by Turia Pitt. She was burnt on 65% of her body after getting caught in a fire while running an ultramarathon. She’s amazing and I couldn’t put the book down!

The missing 411 books by David Paulides. Some of the stories are incredibly sad a very creepy read as well, makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. Makes you think twice about venturing out into the woods again.

Yes, I love them! Also, the tv show is on PBS, so no commercials there or I usually just watch it on Netflix anyway, and I do recommend the show also
