The Outlander series! Not a huge fan of romance, but this series has actually hooked me in. I am currently on the third book and I am loving every bit of it.
Actually just thought of this. Haven’t read the books and the second season of the TV show didn’t hook me, but I definitely enjoyed the first season (the conflicts and chemistry between the leads, and the interweaving of history…and time travel).
The first three that popped in to my head are Terry McMillan’s Disappearing Acts, Kate Cameron’s Orenda: a novel of the Iroquois Nation, and Colin Channer’s Waiting in Vain…and I’ll just put my own Dancing Nude in the Moonlight here as well (just because).
Anything from Colleen Hoover (if you want a more YA feel, Slammed or Hopeless. If you want something more grown up, Maybe Someday or It Ends with Us). Where One Goes by BN Toler. Scattered Ashes by Annie Anderson. Temporary Bliss by BJ Harvey. Fighting Silence by Aly Martinez.
Celtic Brooch Series… every one..
