I highly recommend Winter Solstice by Rosamunde Pilcher. She’s a great writer, and this one is such a sweet, feel good book for the holidays ?

I really enjoyed Hiddensee by Gregory Maguire. It’s about the creation of the Nutcracker. Not really Christmasy, but it’s an interesting tale

I know it’s a children’s book, but The Best Christmas Pageant Ever always makes me laugh and feel festive, and can be finished in, like, an hour. I like to read it (with hot chocolate) at least once every year or so.

Love it! Before I retired from teaching, I read it every year to my third-fifth graders. We had some good laughs! And the overall lesson is the true message of Christmas. ❤️?❤️

For a bite of holiday irony, read ‘Holidays On Ice’ by David Sedaris.
