I’m going to recommend three authors because I love their work. 1) Sarah J. Maas 2) Leigh Bardugo 3) S.G.D. @Siri (I haven’t finished her first book yet but that is how much I am loving it!!)
A Man Called Ove by Fredrick Backman … The Strange Affair of Spring Heeled Jack by Mark Hodder!! The 3rd I would then tailor to the other person’s taste but at the moment I would either go with Broken Promise by Linwood Barclay or The Suicide Club by Andrew Williams ????
So I won’t sound like a broken record (that’s a CD/music file for you new-generationers) I’ll recommend one or two that I haven’t before. “The Little Shepherd of Kingdom Come,” by John Fox Jr., a book given to me long ago by my mother for Christmas, for one. Then there’s the one I just acquired: “Being a Scot,” by Sean Connery. It turned out I had ordered Connery’s book in hardbound without realizing it, but I’m glad I did. It’s a magnificent volume, full of pictures and Scottish anecdotes, as well as autobiographical information.
1)And then there were none by Agatha Christie 2)The girl who was taken by Charlie Donlea 3)The greatest gift by Philip Van Doren Stern (It’s a Wonderful Life)
Can’t choose just three books…so I’ll recommend three authors lol 1. Matthew Reilly (thriller/action) 2. Peter F Hamilton (sci-fi) 3. Clive Cussler (adventure/suspense) 4. Kathy Reichs (forensic, think “Bones”) (Ok, make that 4 authors lol)
