The books hv a lot of hype so i guess they appeals to the majority. For me its alright but i hv a hard time liking the main heroine in the first book ? so i took almost a month to finish.

YES. And let me say the books do get so much better as you go. Like the first book is basically a fun adventure with a good bit of fluff … the second kicks it up about 20 notches and just gets so more intense and kickass. Go for it!
