One of my favorite fiction series. They are fabulous!! Charlene Harris is such a great writer. The shows sucked. Honestly. They were so off base from the books it is ridiculous. But the books are fun, entertaining and I couldn’t put them down.
Loved them! Most were really really good! Reread them all. But a couple didn’t quite seem to be up there with the rest, but still a wonderful series that I’d recommend.
Got the first one on sale a few months ago and loved. The rest of the series has not jumped to the top of my list partly just because there are so many books. But it has a lot better character development than the show did and I loved hearing the main characters inner thought process
I liked them. If you watched the show, just know the books are totally different.

@Jill oh yes. I love em. Eric northman has more humor in the books. Different characters. Tara doesn’t bother me like she did on the show
Tara was the WORST on the show. She almost ruined it for me.

The first 5 books I loved and then they slacked off some IMO. They were funny. There were differences between the books and show.

The first book and first season are pretty close. Other than that, they are very different.

The books are pretty terrible. Characters are insufferable. The last half of the series should never have been printed.
My sentiments EXACTLY! Tried reading the first book, and yeah…NO, one of the few books I LITERALLY threw across the room in frustration.
