No I heard of them
I tried reading Defending Jacob a few times but just could not get into it. I finally just gave up.
Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet is on my TBR list.<3

I thought the Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet was just OK. I too couldn’t get through Defending Jacob, but had friends that LOVED both.

Yes, “Sister of My Heart”, a great book. Another great book is “Child of My Heart”, from 2007 by Alice McDermott. It’s a beautiful story.

Read The Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet i really liked. And recently read “Songs of Willow Frost” which was good also. He has a third book “Love and Other Consolation Prizes” which was good too but The Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet I liked the best of his three books.
