That’s right. The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny are the first two books, both filled with short stories. All have relevance but only a few directly relate to the five book series that is the real story of Geralt.
Book 1: Blood of Elves Book 2: Time of Contempt Book 3: Baptism of Fire Book 4: The Tower of Swallows Book 5: Lady of the Lake
They’re worth reading through. Though there is a lot history that gets explained in The Blood of Elves which is why @Travis probably had a hard time getting through it (which is completely understandable) but they get really good once the foundation is built.
Iv read the last wish and the first story in sword of destiny. I love the writing style and the dialogue between the characters is brilliant. Great fun to read. I hope when im on to Blood of elves it will be similar
I loved The Last Wish. I had a hard time getting into Blood of Elves (I think that’s the title).

Then I say pick it up off that pile and get to reading haha.
I plan on tackling this set next. I just started Oathbringer.
