Brilliant book
One of the few books I’ve ever given up on

I loved it
I really enjoyed it when I read it as a teenager but now, 10 years later I don’t really like it anymore.
Didn’t enjoy it – but strangely enough, did enjoy the film. ‘Lucky’ by the same author is much better 🙂
Thought it was awful. Never finished it.
I read it many years again, it stuck with me whereas lots I forget. However if you’re not into a book go with something else x

I found it a real page turner. Made a big impact on me although I thought the ending could have been stronger.
I really disliked it
I started it and then gave up as I didn’t like it. Then a year or so later was stuck with nothing to read so picked it up and loved it. Worth continuing x
Yeah I liked it, made me think.
I thought it was poorly written. Not a challenging read in the slightest.
Preferred the film
I slogged through it because back then I hated giving up on a book. I didn’t enjoy it, it’s not one I’d recommend.
The writing was rather poor but the story was good. Really a young adult novel.
Keep going. It is good!
I liked it but agree it’s a young adults book. But hey I’m never too old!!

It’s a lovely book. On a personal level, it gave me great comfort after the death of my sister.
