No. I struggled all way through.
I just read another chapter and I think it’s time to ditch it. The writing is very weird. I can’t get into it. And I rarely give up on a book.
The only book I absolutely hated last year. It was so poorly written and the story had so many plot holes and was not well organized or thought out.
I gave up on it.

I think I gave it 1 on Goodreads. I was so annoyed (borderline angry) when I finished this book. Just awful.

I thought it fun although the grammar was off sometimes. It was an easy read. I enjoyed the twists and turns although some were predictable. Good twist at the end.

I felt the same way and struggle thru the whole book because it’s written in 3 person. I enjoyed the storyline but I could not get pass the it being written in the 3rd person
Thanks for all the opinions. I ditched it after 2 chapters. I’m now reading The Immortalists by Chloe Benjamin. Hopefully it’s better! ??

@Kelly the first page was super weird and it’s still a little too much a few chapters in but all reviews say to stick with it so I’m doing my best.

@Nancy you need to read Behind Closed Doors!! 100% better than The Couple Next Door.. It was a little slow moving but I believe worth finishing …

Not the same author. I agree with Tonya Bailey, though. Behind Closed Doors is much better, although it is a bit dark (not graphic, though).
