No way on God’s green earth could I pick just one… So many factors… Age, mood, topic, you get my drift. I’d have to say, though, that right up there would be “Outlander,” and “The Thirteenth Tale.”

It seems that the best book I ever read is always the book I just finished reading.

Highly recommend The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins.

A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towels was one of my favorite books last year.

Just opened the pages of Young Jane Young by Gabrielle Zevin, so cannot give a recommendation yet.

The best books I have read in the past would likely be Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy and A Lesson Before Dying by Ernest Gaines

There have been other books that I thought were the ‘best’ at the time I read them.

Apologies for going on . . . and on . . . about books and never actually answered ‘the best book’ question.

I love knowing what others are reading!
