I must always have a book lined up or else I feel lost. If I don’t know what to read, I always go back to the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon as it gets better with each read…and I loved it the first time.

I always have a back up book ready to read and if that turns out to be a disappointment I have so many books I could revisit!

Anything by Liane Moriarty

Usually what happens is I’ll have four (or five, or six) books on hold at the library, and I’ll be like 99 on the list. I’ll have nothing to read for a week or two, then ALL of the holds will come available at the same time and I have to pick & choose. AGGH!

When I finish a good book, it is hard for me to find the next read. I just started a book, read 93 pages, and put it down as a DNF because I wanted another great read. I tried a few more and I felt the same. I think I will try The Book Thief or A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.

Sometimes I need a little down time in between books, especially when I read something heavy and/or historical.

It’s quite a hollow feeling–a yearning for more of the story. I suppose that’s the mark of a great story.

You can always read it again. It is even better.

Nope. Sometimes I read 2 books concurrently … one a novel and the other a non-fiction. So I never have any time between books!

Never let that time last more than 30 seconds. Too scary!

After a good read I have to contemplate which book to read next. Sometimes it’s easy but not always.

I don’t feel alone, sometimes I feel mobbed. It can be hard to decide what to read next, I just have so many choices.

Yes sort of feast or famine with me, but never go hungry cause you best believe I will always find a book to read, a good one. There are so many great books when I hear someone say, as I have myself, I need a good book, I’m thinking, hey great books are everywhere, open your minds and eyes and hearts.

I have a library in the city, book shelves at home and books on the chair waiting to be shelved and read so I just have to choose.

My problem is reading a five star book then your next book is just “meh”. It could be really good… but your still star struck from the last one.

I’m never “bookless.” I alwasy have the next book waiting in the wings. However, I can feel a little let down if the book I just finished was really fantastic.
