I keep seeing the abridged version of this at my local Chapters, but haven’t had time to pick up a full version of the book. Has anyone seen the gorgeous Folio Society edition?
yep, and I also love the everyman edition with Arthur Rackham’s illustrations, and the Usborne Illustrated Originals version (cloth cover, not padded.)
@David I’ve never seen the Everyman edition, but if it is as beautiful as the Folio Society edition, I am insanely jealous of anyone who has it in their personal library!
@Tiffany I’ve only seen the Folio edition once up close, so I don’t remember it perfectly. The Everyman Children’s Classics one is clothbound and quite affordable-probably not as much of a “luxury” edition as the folio one, but Rackham’s illustrations never disappoint. And my edition of Grahame’s Dream Days (the one I mentioned above that I got for Christmas) is by the Folio Society, and is, as you’d expect from them, quite beautiful.
LOVE TWITW. I also got a lovely edition of another Kenneth Graeme classic, Dream Days, for Christmas.

Lovely idea! Reading should be first and foremost a joy
I too read classic Children’s books for a change of pace.
The Piper at the Gates of Dawn chapter is sublime…
