If the story is thrilling, then I reckon it can sit well in several genres.y

I think a horror must be a thriller, but a thriller does not necessarily need to relate to any horror..does that make sense? ?

I honestly do not get the difference from horror, suspense and thriller… They just seem the same to me. I think you have a legit question.

The difference between thriller and horror is the content. Though both are meant to give readers a sense of fear, thriller is more psychological and has more analyzation and deeper thought. While horror is more blood, violence, gore, and action. Both are different but can be included within each other

they are different but more often than not, these genres are combined and hence perceived as pertaining to one only

And though you fight to stay alive, your body starts to shiver.
For no mere mortal can resist the evil of the Thriller. Maniacal laughter.
—Thriller, Michael Jackson, featuring Rap by Vincent Price.
They put the two together.
