I feel it’s a long way round to the predictable.

There are more books published in a single week than you can read in the rest of your life. Why read crap?

Life’s too short to finish books you don’t enjoy.

I loved it but it did start out slow. Toward the end I couldn’t put it down.

Really disliked it, but struggled through to the end because a friend had recommended it, and I thought she must see something there. Now I need to read another Hannah book for Book Group (The Nightingale) and I’m dreading it a little.

Don’t dread it! It’s much better than Winter Garden. It’s about women in the French Resistance in WW2. Very well researched.

Too, too many books to read to “make” yourself read a book (unless your teacher assigns it, of course!).

I loved this book. It was tough to get through some parts, but I thought it worth the struggle. I haven’t read The Nightingale yet, but it on the list.

I loved it and it stuck with me. I forget so many books but not that one. It’s is a bit slow in the beginning and then gets to be a page turner.
