This is actually why I refuse to finish the series. I love them and I really understood his anger and cause. I couldn’t picture him as a bad guy like they wanted me to. And once I heard what happens to him In book three, I just refuse to read it.

Definitely not. I think the general thought is The Darkling is wayyyy better than Mal

They should have ended up together. A much better and more fascinating ending even if they end up dying together or get defeated or whatever. Ohhhh if they ended up together and Mal finally becomes interesting and has to defeat or kill them both. That would have been awesome.
