Try Lavyrle Spencer. I’ve read all her books and they are all wonderful. She writes both contemporary and historical. I prefer the historical ones. My all time favorites are Morning Glory, The Gamble, and November of the Heart.
I just finished a REALLY good one that I won in a GoodReads giveaway called The Little French Bistro. It’s romance, mixed with self-discovery and new beginnings. The writing style is absolutely beautiful and there is lots of “heart” (and soul!) in this book. ?
That’s fair; everyone has different preferences. ? I haven’t read any of her other books (I don’t normally read romances personally), so I don’t know if they’re similar.
Nicholas Sparks and James Patterson… Patterson is usually a thriller/mystery writer but he has some lovey ones and they are VERY similar to Nicholas Sparks…
These will change your mind? Archer’s Voice by Mia Sheridan Mists of the Serengeti by Leylah Attar The Man I Love by Suanne Laquer Rush by Emma Scott Waiting for the Sun by Robin Hill.
Have you ever read any of Nicholas Sparks’ novels? They are wonderful!

Don’t have much truck with romance fiction, but read Night Shall Overtake Us by Kate Saunders.
Just curious, what is missing when you say it’s hard to find a romance novel with heart?
