Anything that takes me away mentally from the daily grind of life and uplifts and inspires me. Sometimes it’s a cozy mystery, or it may be philosophy book, maybe even some poems. I guess that is why I read 8 books at a time…. I have different moods as to what I want to read.

Any book I’m reading. I don’t have only one comfort book since I don’t really read a book twice unless I want to remember how it went before watching the movie.

That’s awesome! I moved into my new apartment 8 hours away from where I grew up yesterday and when I started missing my parents and childhood home I went to bed listening to the Harry Potter audiobooks. ❤️

When my step-dad kicked me out when I was 18, I made sure to take two things: my great-grandmother’s blanket and my Harry Potter books. At that time in 2003 it was up to book 5. 14 years later and they’re still my go to comfort books 🙂
