I just finished chapter 7, and it just still feels really selfish to me. No one’s even asked Molly if she WANTS to be set up with the guy. They just assume she does because Reasons. And being someone who has a history of not being able to speak up to boys, I would find it really annoying if someone just inserted themselves into my love life and decided that they knew what was best for me.
Haha that’s the truth kayla. And yes it is annoying. Cassie is in the wrong, but her heart is in the “I don’t want to grow apart from my sister” place. She goes about it all wrong, but I can comprehend the why.
Cassie came off as really selfish and entitled to me. Also, wanting you and your sister to date best friends? I was just screaming “No!” How awkward would it be if someone got into an argument?
I want to feel bad for Molly and how she is self conscious, but she totally just judged that kid for his middle earth shirt, so I hope somewhere this book contains a lesson about how to not be a hypocrite.
I finished it the other day, it wasn’t too bad. Pretty quick read.
