Gift cards are a good idea, as you can buy throughout the year, either getting a new must read new release, or perhaps several books on sale. If he has enough money maybe enough for 12 cards one for each month and you can buy a new book each month of the year ?

When people ask me I tell them a few off of my wish list and then I won’t buy those books. I told my mom that I want 1000 Books to Read Before You Die, Their Eyes Were Watching God, and the graphic novel version of To Kill a Mockingbird.
