So I’m finally starting the Shadow Hunter series. Can anyone recommend the best order to read them in? There’s a lot of books!

Publication order is
City of Bones
City of Ashes
City of Glass
Clockwork Angel
City of Fallen Angels
Clockwork Prince
City of Lost Souls
Clockwork Princess
City of Heavenly Fire
Lady Midnight
Lord of Shadows

Theres also 2 novella books but i think you can take them or leave them. I’ve only read a few of the Bane Chronicles but am up to date with the series.

Also whether its this way or Vince’s way make sure you read clockwork princess before city of heavenly fire or you will spoil yourself

I Agree with Melissa either way will work but read Clockwork Princess before City of Heavenly Fire

I personally loved the Bane and Shadowhunter Chronicles. I read them as each individual story was published, and I was always left wanting. But I’d wait until you’re done with the 9 books before you read those. Bane was published before the end, but it probably doesn’t matter much about reading it in order.
