My mother’s 59 and loves Rick Riordan’s books. =) He’s a darn good writer with interesting subject matter.
I guess my guilty pleasure would be the Daughters of the Moon series.

Never feel guilty for buying the creations of writers. You make the world a better place for all.

The first was an abomination. Then that second one. What in the ever loving fuck was that!?!

0
Dale

The second one made me so freaking mad. Tyson was so wrong and than mushing book 2-5 in one movie was so freaking wrong

Ana Beth being mixed with The daughter of Aries made me angry in both movies. They were just so badly done. The ten books though just make my soup so happy.

I am LOVING the Trials of Apollo series. The way he touches on abuse in it. They’re all just written so well, fun but also bringing up some very serious topics.

0
Jacqueline

The Harry Potter movies I felt were going well up to about three or four. But five six and seven were leaving out so much. I’m ready to flip the tv five minutes into seven. Either of them.

I go back and forth about whether they should be “guilty” or not. :/ I read the Black Jewels Trilogy and associated other novels at least yearly because they speak to my heart in way nothing else does.

I’m nearly 44, and I read anything which takes my fancy, and that includes YA books. Also, as I have a young niece, I’ve read a fair few kids’ books in recent years and loved them, particularly “Hairy Maclary from Donaldson’s Dairy” – brilliant book! 😀
