Lee Child’s and Michael Crighton’s latest hard covers. They’d probably cost $50; that’s why I read my Kindle.

Okay, I buy 90% of my books at our Friends of the Library book sale. Since none are over .75, I could pretty much shop to my hearts content and just get whatever took my fancy.

Well, since I have a Nook (well 2 of them) I would buy a gift card.
I like keeping gift cards on my nook to control my spending.
Besides when I see I book I want (like when I start a series I have the money)

I would just browse until I found things that interested me. I would buy books on sale though. I rarely pay full price for books.

I’d probably work on building my Classics collection, I’d love to have some copies of Tortilla Flat, Cannery Row, and other Steinbeck works, John Muir would be good I’ve read like three of his books but I don’t own any. Some more Tolkein. George MacDonald would be nice, I’m sure his stuff is still in print. And the Andrew Lang Fairy book series, I bought the blue Fairy book after an old copy fell apart.

I go to a second hand bookstore to buy my books, so it would depend on which books are available

Here in backwater Idaho, bookstores are now so few that I do most of my shopping on Amazon. I like to browse at Barnes and Noble, but their prices are “purchase-prohibitive.” I now have about 1,200 books, so really I should just stay home . . .Lol.

I would look for Jane Austen novel adaptations, Chicken Soup books, ballet, & then replace those lent out & never returned & that I lost in a fire.
