The acting is horrendous in my opinion.
I couldn’t get past episode 2, it just was nowhere near as well written out as the books. They tried too hard and in my humble opinion…failed.
I absolutely love season 1 and season 2. It was my favorite show on TV even though it was different from the books. But the first episode of season 3 which just came on completely turned me off… It’s gotten extremely violent and demonic in a way that has lost my interest completely.

Well, I have to be honest. The first season is not as good as the second season. The acting gets a lot better come season 2.
I agree. They really grew into their acting in Season 2. I held on hoping for exactly that.
I still liked it though. I am just so broken hearted at the direction they went in season 3. It got way too gory and violent. That might not bother some people but I am not into blood and gore
I watch supernatural and game of thrones so gore doesn’t bother me lol

I was hesitant to watch it as well. But with the mindset that it is different from the books, helped me enjoy it. I really like it now lol. Worth the watch to at least see how it is for you.

Definitely. Just be prepared for a lot of changes…. but an awesome dynamic!!
I’ve just accepted that the show is “based” on the books. And I like it. I LOVE the books, but I also like the show with all the changes and twists.
It’s a show and like all they have good parts and bad parts, but I do suggest if you are going to start watching it then keep an open mind because the story line will sway sometimes and that does catch a lot of people.

The show is pretty good long as you don’t compare it to the books lol. They are way too different.
And season 1 the acting and budget were pretty low. Season 2 and 3 get a lot better
I really enjoy the show. It’s trashy but enjoyable trashy. I would probably treat is as completely separate from the books though.
Yeah the first episode I was just like…?? Did they cram the whole first book into one episode lol it’s a very loose interpretation at best
If you can separate them in your head yes lol if your constantly thinking but it should be like this … then it will drive you crazy lol
