So I can’t stick to reading just 1 book at a time. I need multiple books to read at once. Anyone else like that?

Me
Im usually reading one fantasy book and listening to a nonfiction on audible while at work.
Im still trying to be able to listen to books on audible. I find it very difficult.
@Anita i find speeding up the narration to help. It goes better with my own reading speed.
? I will have to look into that. Yea the audiles are too slow. So I’d rather just have the book to focus on and have my reading speed.
I usually have one with audio and one to read. I can’t read multiple books at once BUT I do read multiple series at once. I can’t read through an entire series. I’ll get bored. These are the books I’m currently running.
It took me years to be able to read multiple books at once. I usually read a couple chapters in one book and switch over to another book. Night Angel is so good!!! Im thinking about re reading it ^_^
@Anita it is! I love Brent Weeks so much! Have you read his Lightbringer series? It’s so good too.
I have not yet, But I do hear great things about that series
I can’t binge series either
@Donevan I just get bored. It can be my favorite author, book, or series and I’m just going to end up feeling likes a chore.
Yes yes yes!!!
I carry at least two with me
always need options lol
I do this. I read like three novel at a time, couple Mangas and couple comic books
I don’t unless one is non fiction (Or fiction but WAY different)
It took me a bit to train my brain to be able to read books at the same time of the same genre.
Can I ask why? Like how is it helpful?
I just enjoy reading multiple stories at once
Ah, that’s fair I guess
Its kind of like how people can watch multiple shows at once. I dont watch much TV so I do multiple books at once.
I watch too much TV (Why I don’t read more) but I binge whole series
Not alot of TV for me. The space in my brain where tv would be is filled with books lol
I’ve got at least three or four going at any given time
Always need options lol
Different moods lol
lol that I understand
Guilty!
Nope. I like to read one story at a time. But to each their own.
Me. Depends on my mood though.
Not fantasy books. If I’m reading a good one, I don’t want to do or read anything else.
Different types of books, yes.
Yep
No – really? If a book is really good, I want to continue as often as possible. Normally I also need a little break between different books – when I finished one , in every case a few hours. 🙂
Yes. I read many books at a time. Sometimes I’ll read all the way through a book, but usually it takes a few weeks to months. Only with non-fiction do I read quickly through an entire book, but that is because I need the info or can skim unimportant paragraphs.
I usually have a physical book and an audiobook on the go at same time. Audio for work etc and psysical in house
Yes
I typically read 5 books at the same time and cycle through them….I can’t read certain books when I am in some moods…so I have a few at a time depending on my mood.
Yep. I generally have one going on my Kindle, at least one fiction hard copy book, and a nonfiction hard copy book going at all times.
Yeah I have 3 on the go now ?
Well… sorta. I read one actual book a time on my kindle. But then I also have an audio-book going for when I’me driving or in the shower. And then another audiobook to read while I go to sleep – this last one is usually a re-read, so it doesn’t matter if I fall asleep on it.
My problem is that I work at home, now, which means I don’t drive as much as I used to, so I am finding it hard to read audio books consistently. 🙂
I usually finish one before I will let myself start another. ? so I read Over 50 since January it prompts fast reading. Lol
2 on audible two on kindle usually, sometimes more
It depends on what I’m reading
4 Work home travelling and r&r
I dont think i could do it.. Id probably just focus on one after awhile and drop the others
Yes. My mood depends on which one I read at that time
I usually have one audio book going, one fiction book and several non fiction books at once (because they don’t hold my attention like novels do and I don’t get to them very often). I used to read a bunch of novels at once, but I’ve been making a concerted effort to stay focused on one.
