I can talk about it. I know a lot of people here loved it. It was good, don’t get me wrong… I just didn’t understand the hype. I also figured it out immediately. :/

If you’re going to hype up a book as though it’s as suspensful as Gone Girl, you’re going to have to do better than that. I was totally let down on the suspense and the ending was like…that’s it? It was enough that I was into it but not enough that I was blown away by it. I’m left wanting. lol

I think I would’ve liked it better had I not read Gone Girl first.. I felt like they were similar in a lot of ways and that gone girl was better written. It was good, but not great.

Exactly, @Jessica!

I haven’t read Gone Girl yet. Well, I haven’t finished it.

I think I still would have been like…and? lol. I try not to guess “who done it” unless it’s glaringly obvious, because I like to be “surprised” but finding out who did it was just like…ok. lol. I was waiting for a crazy twist and that wasn’t what I had in mind.

It wasn’t bad, I just felt that it was pretty predictable by like halfway through.

I did feel completely absorbed into Rachel. Like I actually felt like a black out drunk reading it!
