Both are good. Old books are fascinating for their history and their window into the past.

I like used more for some reason, especially if it’s a book I fall in love with. Because it’s used, I know others probably enjoyed the story too. ?

I don’t care as long as it’s not an old paperback that is so old that the glue is dried and the pages keep falling out. Although I will read them too lol

Both are same to me since if I took old book, I can buy more with same amount sort of saving. But we all want to read more so it is better to get more books in small amount and many times after keeping new books for few months finally they are going to look like old while old hard cover look many times look like new. ??

Both. I love finding writings and little pieces of paper inside used books. I love their smell as well. I love that they have their own little history. And I love new books because they are so beautiful and just waiting for their first chance to be read and loved by someone, who just so happens to be me. I just love books; can you tell? 🙂

I like finding used books, sometimes there are papers from the previous owners, notes, lists, ace of spades card, etc. makes it more interesting to know that someone else enjoyed the book.

I like used books. Why pay full price $6-$20 for 1 book I can get 10 for $1 The more books I can buy, the more book reviews I can leave and that encourages more authors to write more, and they end up selling more books. Plus, I just can’t afford to buy brand new books all the time. I never pay more than a $1 for a book, and if I really want to read a book, I get it free from the library.

I love a new book, but if the book is really good a shabby, worn-down fiction or non-fiction will suit me.
