They are nit good. But if you like trashreading or mining for gold in bad books, go for it! They have some really good moments and ideas, but if they took any longer to read they woldn’t worth the time.
Of course if you liked the first one and it’s up your alley, who am I to tell you to not enjoy something because I don’t consider it good? I had an okay time with them honestly.

When my teenage daughter read them, you couldn’t have paid me to read them. Until….. we were on the way home from vacation – starting a ten hour trip and I had already read every other book in the car! I started Twilight in the car and within in one week had read my way through the entire series. It’s. Its not something I would read again, but I enjoyed them at the time. I don’t generally enjoy that genre – but did like them. I don’t read to critique – I read for pure brain candy and almost promptly forget what I just finished lol read whatever makes YOU happy and don’t be swayed or shamed by the opinions of others ??

Not every books is for every person. I loved them. My daughter begged me to read them because she loved them. But, if it’s not pulling you in then I would say drop them and move on. Life is to short to force yourself to read something you don’t like. Way to many other books to enjoy.

Without giving away any spoilers, I just wanted to say that I nearly threw my copy of the fourth book across the room when I finished it. That’s how much it pissed me off.

If you were “meh” on the first book, I doubt you’ll like the rest any better. If you liked book one, go for it.
Personally, I didn’t make it past chapter seven in book one.

I think the book that splits between Jacob and Edwards is the best one. It’s been a while… Was that book two?
