I saw the show first and regretted it. I sincerely regret missing the chance to ‘meet’ the characters before the actors took their place.

I never watch a series or movie after I read the book cos it ruins my imagination of how they look etc so I would watch first in that case
I read and watched the first season along with the book and I have to say that they did a really good job. Even though they first season ends in a different place than the book… it is actually sort of better.
