I feel like authors shouldnt have different series if you should read the series in order… They should just be one long series like the wheel of time
Sword was the very first book released. The prequels I won’t read.
I started reading the voyage of the jerle shannara thinking i could just read that series but i guess i should start from the very beginning huh

Please read in order but the prequel first king of Shannara I would leave till about 4 books in cos it explains so much in my opinion it’s one of the best Shannara books x

I found wards of faerie at a yard sale and read the trilogy, then i went back in time to read the others, but I don’t think reading them out of order made a difference ?♀️
