Should books be shelved to the front or the back of the bookshelf?Should books be shelved to the front or the back of the bookshelf? Kamely #questionnaire
Hmm. Tricky. If they are faced to the front, it’s easier to see all the titles. But if they are pushed to the back, that potentially frees up a little bit of space onto which one could stack more books. Such a dilemma.
Which one appeals to you more…I do both, start from the back, it allows me to put much more books on my shelves.
Back, then double stack when needed….. but at work (in the library) they are at the front for ease of access 🙂

Same. I was like,
“Who has enough shelf room that that’s a question?” ?
Same here. 😀 Such a luxury problem.
Me, too!! But I think my shelf is starting to bow with all the books on there. ?
Back
Both my bookcases have double rows of books and I still don’t have enough space for all of them.
Samesies ?

My shelves are double stacked. Alphabetical by author I know where to look.
