Also plenty of free ebook sites, just google “free ebooks”. All the books may not be great but it’s something to read lol

Most definitely checkout Hoopla and Overdrive for free books. Also, you can go to the Kindle store and type “free” into the search bar and it will pop up all kinds of free books! Do you have Amazon Prime? If so, you can also download the Prime Books.

You could also go old-school and just head to your local library and pick out some books! 🙂

2

JesseyQuestion author

@Kristy I’ve never heard of them to I will check them out for sure. I don’t have Amazon prime but now I must get it lol.

2
Kristy

I don’t use Prime for the books, but I use the books because we have Prime….does that make sense? We pay $99/year for Amazon Prime so we get free 2 day shipping on Prime items, but with the membership, you get other perks as well (including free ebooks!)

1
JesseyQuestion author

That is very nice to know.. oh and yes it makes total sense

Hoopla is a good app with great books on it. I’ve found several books to download that my library didn’t have.

@Jessey I loved them! In fact I collected all I could get my hands on! Are you a member of your library? Our library has hoopla and stuff my library doesn’t have hoopla it usually does you can find a lot of stuff on there by Audrey carlan, Angel Payne, Meredith Wild, all sorts of people I would urge you to try it.

1
JesseyQuestion author

Could have swore I replied to this lol…. I will look we are a small town so mine probably doesn’t have hoopla either

0
Donita

I live in a really small town as well, but mine does luckily. I have found lots of sites to get good free books. Also on Amazon Cora Seton has several free books that are excellent.

Also Laurie Olerich has the Primani series and the 1st book Primani is free.

Ali Parker is another great author and if you go on Amazon and put in Ali Parker free Kindle books there’s eight or nine on their and they’re really good. She writes books with her brother Weston he’s good too.

0
Donita

Another thought is Netgalley. You can apply for free books that are getting ready to be released and you have to do a review of the book. I have gotten some that way. Of course I have been turned down on some there too.

Also – Morgan rice offers 4 free ebooks when you sign up for emails at her website. They are the first books in each of her series. And they’re all really amazing!

1

JesseyQuestion author

@Michelle how do I do that I have a nook

0
Michelle

My library had instructions for using eBooks, so I just followed their directions. I am currently using a Nook app on my Samsung Tablet, but when I was using the Nook there was a program that I downloaded from the library onto my computer, I had to make it aware of my Nook following their directions, and then I connected the Nook to my computer and transferred the files. Like I said all of the information was on my library’s web site. Checking out the eBooks is the same as a physical book, I can just do it without having to leave the house! I hope this helps!

Not free but I just thought I would suggest the Scribd app. It’s an amazing service if you are on a budget. It’s 8.99 USD and you get unlimited access to a tonne of audiobooks & eBooks. They don’t have everything but there range is huge and well worth the cost.

I download from my local library. All you need is a library card. They have ebooks and audiobooks, all free. New releases and classics and popular ones. So many books right there! You can read them on your phone, tablet, Kindle, Nook, or computer/laptop/iPad. It’s all free. If a book you want isn’t available, you can place it on hold and they’ll email you when it’s available. Or you can read the physical books by going to your library and checking them out.
