Well my all time favorite is of course 1984.

The classic: 1984

And there’s The Long Walk, it’s sort of of a dystopian, in a way. It’s a shorter novella though, by Stephen King

We (1921) by Yevgeny Zamyatin is the novel that inspired Orwell’s 1984

I read one recently called Broadcast by Liam Brown. More like Black Mirror but still decent.
The Handmaids Tale too feels scarily possible.

The author said it is based on stuff that has happened in the world.

I just finished a book called Hit by Delilah S. Dawson. Not exactly a big brother type novel but definitely in that sort of vein.

The Girl Who Dared to Think, by Bella Forrest. I’ve only read the first one but I think there are 7. The first was really good I just haven’t continued the series yet.

Also, The Rule of One by Ashley and Leslie Saunders was good. The second one either hasn’t released yet, or just recently came out I’m not sure. Been too busy catching up on my TBR to go back to it ?‍♀️

Alexa? Sorry, couldn’t help myself. I agree with 1984, Maze Runner, and Divergent. Also, Farenheit 451.

Ooooh The Slated series and the series that began with Wool are good too. Both mainly YA though.

The Silenced by DeVita. Don’t read reviews or background info first…It is not what it seems…ending and source material make it an even better read….

Janie Stewart I never read reviews before reading a book. Too often you can be turned off a good book by bad reviews. Thanks for the suggestion?.
