The Stormlight Archive is huge, epic, and imaginative with world-building that is both unique and brilliant. The characters are unforgettable and become masterfully developed. The events are on the LotR scale of epicness. The series is a classic in the making.

Night angel trilogy or Lightbringer series. Both by Brent Weeks. Night angel is magical assassins bringing light to a dark world. Lightbringer is magic mad from color. Both are amazing but night angel is his first series so Lightbringer is a bit more polished. Love love love!!!

Jim Butcher Codex of Alera is also really good. He wrote it when given the brief “ Pokemon meet Roman Empire” and it smashes it out of the park.

Try Sparkles of Blue by Ray Zdan. Quite unique consept of hopping between two worlds and a page-turner. I was really hooked and can’t wait for the next book to be published 🙂 I’m a fan now.

If you like reading things from different perspectives – conflict vs self and conflict vs others – Malazan Book of the Fallen is one of good choices to read. High recommended!
