I usually read nonfiction but my brother gave me Haruki Murakami’s ‘Kafka on the shore’ and I’m hooked.
Has anyone here read it? Can you recommend authors similar to Haruki Murakami?

I LOVE Murakami but have found authors similar but never quite as good as he is. I would recommend just reading more of his works. Wind Up Bird Chronicle is probably his best. I really liked HardBoiled Wonderland and the End of the World.
Kafka on the Shore is a great “gateway” to Murakami – probably his most accessible work.
Same author but you should also try his book IQ84.
