Kept on going because everyone said to and I hated myself for finishing. Predictable and super drawn out. Regret spending all my time on it.

Read while I was recuperating from knee replacement surgery I kind of related to being stuck just watching my neighbors. I did not mix alcohol with my pain meds.

I thought the end action was a little drawn out for my taste, it was predictable, but I still enjoyed it.

I liked it a lot, I read it so long ago. They are making a movie.

It was one of the slowest, most plodding books I’ve ever read. The first part was so slow. And the way the character was written you would have thought she was a 70-year old woman but was younger than 40!

@Leiauna so right…it seemed as though she was a lot older.

Stephanie

OMG. I thought of her as a sixty year old too but now that I think about it, she must have been younger.

I think it was overhyped for me. I recall figuring on the twists rather early.

Definitely overhyped. I think publishers and critics have finally stopped saying books are “this year’s Gone Gir.”

I liked it but it does drag a bit

I thought it was really good. Especially the description of her leaving the house with agoraphobia that time. I felt it. Character was so good and thought out.

Unexpected twist at the end…it did drag a bit but was enough to keep me interested
