I’ve read a couple of Anne Cleaves afew years ago. Very different to the tv series. As they all are of course. The George Gently books are very different for example x

The Rizzolli and Isles on tv is nothing like the books but still good and Bones only used the name of Temperance Brennan

Have to try Shetland series. May go back and re read the Ed McBain 87th Precinct stories. They were brilliant
