Emma the is not the sort of book I normally read. I like Thriller, Murder mystery, suspense etc. but read this book a few years ago and can honestly say it is one of the best books I have ever read.

I understand long books can sometimes seem daunting, but carry on! Pillars of the Earth, Lonesome Dove and Shogun are all long novels but some of my favorites. I’m reading Fall of Giants now, also long but it gets better and easier to read as I get deeper into the story.

I’ve put off reading this just because of the length. It sounds like a book I will love but I am always so afraid to invest that kind of time in a book and it not be worth it. Let me know what you think.
