Why do people think a book moving “slow” is a bad thing. I think we have been affected by fast moving plots on TV and the movies. What’s the rush? Relax and enjoy each page.

Sometimes I have learned you have to put books into perspective…this is about an old man…you just have to be able to relate to someone like him. It may just depend on your age and/or circumstances ….me being older I can relate pretty good to these old people stories. My Fave is The 100 Yr Old Man Who Crawled Out A Window And Disappeared..it was hilarious and it helps to know some history also to get it.

I struggled but not for the same reasons as you. I bawled. I wasn’t emotionally ready. My mom wasn’t all there when she died, so this just hit close to home for me.
