Is that the one made into a movie with Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves in it? I remember seeing the previews to it and thinking “If there was ever a movie that was like an Asian drama, that is it!” (I had just spent a year in Korea). Sure enough, it was based on a movie made in Asia. Wonder if that Asian movie was based on this book?
